The School Advisory Commission advises, assists and supports the pastor and principal in formulating policies of good stewardship that safeguard, then advance, our parish school’s Catholic educational ministry.
The School Advisory Commission’s Mission Effectiveness Committee collaborates with the Administrative Team to maintain and enhance the school’s Catholic nature and to help design and implement programs that promote our school’s mission. The Strategic Planning Committee helps design, implement and monitor long range plans. In addition to budgeting, the Finance Committee is involved in matters regarding the schools overall fiscal operation and monitoring the accuracy of financial procedures. The Facilities Committee is involved with the long-term maintenance program for school-specific capital improvements/property depreciation. The Development Committee focuses on the implementation of resource development programs, including public relations and communications efforts.
The School Advisory commission does not regulate either curriculum/instruction or personnel matters.
